Information for Transferring Players
The UT Men’s Soccer Club holds a week-long two-a-day mini-camp in late August prior to the Fall season so that we hit the ground running when the official season starts in the first week or two of September. This mini-camp gives the coaching staff an opportunity to evaluate incoming players prior to official try-outs, and gives new players the advantage of being identified early in pre-season versus those players who only make it to official try-outs.
Pre-season Training Camp
This year’s pre-season training camp is scheduled for August 16-20th. Please try to be in Austin by the 16th. In addition to your cleats & guards, you will need running shoes for morning fitness sessions.
Transferring players currently have a couple of other eligibility requirements that that must be taken into consideration. Please contact Coach Prewett for additional information on this issue.

Remember—there is no equivalent for the fitness that playing the game gives you, so try to play as much as possible this summer.
Lastly, Coach Prewett will be coaching and managing a team within the AMSA U-23 Division this summer. If you plan to be in Austin this summer and would like to train and play to continue improving your skill and fitness prior to the Fall season, please contact Coach Prewett for information on how to get involved with this Summer U-23 squad.
