Mission Statement

Texas Men's Soccer is dedicated to developing men based on the principles of individual leadership, personal integrity and teamwork. We are committed to personal development both on and off the field, in order to enrich the experience of students at The University of Texas at Austin.

Our goal is to provide a healthy outlet to students by fostering friendships and teaching a strong work ethic. In doing so, we aspire to continue building on a rich history to uphold our Winning Tradition at both the Conference and National level.

Sports Club Status

Men's Soccer at The University of Texas is not an NCAA varsity program. As such, the Men’s Club squad is the highest outlet for competitive soccer at UT.

Texas Men's Soccer is a Sports Club affiliated with the University of Texas Sport Club Association (UTSCA). Our club is formed, developed, governed, and administered by the student membership of the club working in conjunction with The University of Texas Division of Recreational Sports (UT RecSports) and our higly committed Coaching Staff.

Texas Men's Soccer competes in the Texas Collegiate Soccer League (TCSL) and fields two highly competitive teams each year. Our teams compete against Big XII programs such as Texas A&M, Baylor and Texas Tech. Other conference opponents include SMU, Texas State and UTSA, among others.

With a substantial amount of historical success, UT also competes on the national stage through the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association's (NIRSA) National Tournament. With a strong tradition and history, including 3 National Championships and numerous Conference Championships, the Club is run as closely to an NCAA varsity program as possible.

In recent history, Texas Men's Soccer has won three Conference championships in a row (2006, 2007 & 2008), the Region IV South Championship in 2007, as well as reaching the Final 16 of the NIRSA National Tournament in three of the last five years.
